Even though he is not a practicioner, Dorin Tănase holds a Master in Business Law, after writing a dissertation about datio in solutum law, few months before the Romanian Parliament actually adopted the law in april 2016. He and his colleagues from Credere are constantly informing the consumers about their rights, providing guidance and being involved in the lawmaking process. His involvement in financial consumer protection area started in 2015, but some of his colleagues started the battle in 2010. The motto of Credere is „building trust” – the banks must treat the consumer as a partner, not as a negligible number.
